We're actively working on a refreshed Dashboard experience in Resound. Our goal is to make the home page in Resound give clearer directions on the status of your projects, make it faster to jump into a project and finish it out, and more... I can't share all the details but we're really excited for this.

If you get to create the transcript of the audio file and allow the user to edit the audio/video file by deleting the word or the sentence on the transcript, you will have created the most amazing app!

Maybe have an "advanced" tab with 2 or 3 silence removal modes "Casual" (more silence) "Classic" (normal) and "YouTube" (fast = no gaps)

Have the option of exporting at 320kbps MP3 or 16-bit wav. This would be in the Advanced tab.
