Maybe have an "advanced" tab with 2 or 3 silence removal modes "Casual" (more silence) "Classic" (normal) and "YouTube" (fast = no gaps)

I would love Resound to remove silence according to a max time I specify. This would cut long pauses, but it would also pad um/ah cuts to include silence to the left and right so as to meet my max silence time.

Make the maximum silence gap selectable in fractions of a second. This is a very useful feature that Descript has. You can also specify what maximum silence gap to replace it with.
